CARDINAL ROAD HOCKEY LEAGUE!

Calling all danglers, pilons, grinders, benders and cherry pickers.

Goal:

The goal of the Cardinal Road Hockey League is to embrace the values of camaraderie and sportsmanship, to have fun playing hockey at the Greenwich Skating Club and the new Wings Arena, with players of various skill levels.

Structure: 

There will be 8 teams with a cap of 20 players per team, and a max of 15 players per game

We will add 2 expansion teams, joining the existing 6 teams  

The goal is to have A, B, C lines playing against each other  

New this year: 

The season will last 23 weeks

We will play indoor at Wings Arena from Sept 9 – Nov 9  

League play will transition outdoor, November 16 – Early March. We will have the normal 3 outdoor slots at GSC and 1 indoor slot at Wings Arena  

In addition to a year end gift, we will host a CRHL banquet in the fall  

We will also host a 4 Nations Hockey Tournament (Riverside, OG, Greenwich, Cos Cob)

Who is eligible: Regular members, professional coaches, faculty members and vacation members  

When / Where: All games will be Sunday evenings at Wings Arena or GSC, 6:30pm+, across 4 slots   

Cost: $900 

 *For those members who are ‘parent coach’ volunteers, we will apply a discount in October (discount tbd), after the rosters have been set and volunteer coaches have been identified.

Registration: ALL new players and veterans need to register online. First come, first serve. Past status does not reserve your spot, all must register!
