Girls have the opportunity to develop their skills and play competitive hockey in an incredibly fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Girls Hockey-Mini Mites, Mites, U10, U12, U14
Our club environment provides an all important social component to the sport that will allow girls to thrive.
There are many opportunities for both experienced girls and those new to the sport.
Girls are welcome and encouraged to join the mini mite program that starts as early as age 3.
There are also many girls who play in our Mite hockey program and we expect to have an all-girls mite team for the first time next season.
We also have several girls who enjoy both figure skating and hockey.
This year we fielded two teams for the girls U12 and U14 divisions, the A teams participated in the Connecticut Hockey Conference. The girls U10, U12B and U14B teams competed in the Connecticut Girls Hockey League.
Girls new to hockey can improve and develop their skills playing on the ice three times a week with the co-ed Travel Development League.
Girls travel teams begin training in September and have 2 practices and 1-2 games per week as well as early season conditioning and 1-2 tournaments throughout the year, including the end of season state tournament.
